Hosted by Radio Ulster's Alan Simpson - new club Love and Death Inc. introduces Taboo Thursdays 'Belfast's Next Top Model'. This competition is open to to anyone and everyone (no height restrictions) and runs for 5 more weeks! First prize is a modelling contract provided by Pose Modelling Agency, professional photoshoot package with 4Fashion, and your image on 10,000 flyers. Second prize is a modelling contract with Pose and a 10 page portfolio provided by Shelley Rodgers Photography. Third prize is £100 cash, hair styling by Hedonist Hair and a professional makeover by make-up artist Rachel Weir. From Wallflower to WOW!

I know it's only January but can't help feeling that Spring is just around the corner after these past few sunny days and when I saw this amazing vintage dress arrive today in work it made me even more optimistic! Made up of silk it dazzles with sequins, intricate beading and gathered grosgrain ribbon. The turquoise and burnt orange tones give it a hot Mexican edge ideal for jazzing up any party! It is currently available in The Rusty Zip, approx size 10-12 at £50.

4Fashion Winter Catwalk Show @ Christ Church

A definite rebel vibe was present last Thursday evening at the 4Fashion Catwalk Show. Creative director Connor Kerr announced at the start that the show contained sexual content and that if anyone was easily offended to leave, before models walked out to Peaches-esque style porn music! Whilst it may not have been to everyone's taste this was all in aid of Pretty N'Pink cancer charity and it certainly got people talking!

Two designers - Fionnuala Bourke and Jessica Edlin showcased their collections. Fionnula's involved unique and wearable pieces in leather, sequins and chiffon. Jessica's contained interesting digital printed dresses from artwork that she had made - reworked and ripped up photographs of musical instruments, inspired by blues and jazz.
